Deciduous shrub belonging to the Lythraceae family, medium heigh 3 - 5 m. Spectacular pink, red or white blooming panicles formed in the end of the branches in early autumn. Appreciates heat and tolerates not prolonged low temperatures. Sun exposure. Does not tolerate alkaline soils.
