(Cucumis flexuosus )
This variety of melon is usually called cucumber, and is also known as the snake
cucumber or snake melon. It has very long stalks, round leaves, and small, pale yellow flowers. Very thin,
long, twisted fruit (measuring up to 1 m x 12 cm). It is eaten in salads or pickled.
