TAGARNINA CARDILLO

Very rustic plant of biannual cycle, of the family of the composites. It develops a rosette of divided leaves with many thorns. When the plants (which in their first stage grow horizontally) have a height of 15 to 20 cm, the stalks are harvested, the thorns are removed and can be consumed mainly in stews, it also has diuretic properties.
